Float for suction strainers
Description
The float for suction strainer is designed to keep a suction strainer at the correct depth below the water surface during pumping operations.
Equipped with a chain and quick-release carabiner, the float allows the suction strainer to be positioned a few centimetres below the water surface. This helps prevent the suction of impurities and sediment from the bottom of the water source, helping to protect the suction line and pumping equipment.
The float body is made from red polyethylene. The chain, hook and carabiner are made from stainless steel, providing good resistance in wet and demanding operating environments.
This float is a practical accessory for pump and pump unit suction lines, particularly when pumping from natural water sources or water reservoirs.
