MAMMUT Barryvox S avalanche transceiver
Description
The Barryvox® S with its long reception range search bandwidth of 70 meters offer to the user a large and simple interface and an intuitive operation. It is a digital detector with 3 antennas.
It allows fast and accurate searches thanks to the Smart Search function. To protect rescuers who do not participate in the search, the Rescue SEND function has been integrated into the Barryvox® S. In case of a second avalanche that buries a rescuer, the SEND mode is automatically activated and signals the position of the avalanche.
It can be used for skiing, mountaineering or even touring ski.
It works with 3 alkaline and lithium batteries AAA 1.5V for an autonomy of 300 hours in SEND mode.
