Description
For cliff climbing, long routes and mountaineering, Petzl's Reverso belay device combines safety and versatility. It can be used to belay a leader, abseil and belay one or two seconds.
Easy to use
- Classic movements for use with the rope in the belay device and the other hand on the braking side of the rope.
- Natural sliding of the rope in the belayer
- V-shaped braking grooves and asymmetrical lateral grooves to modulate braking control
A single piece of equipment for all uses
- Use on long routes, cliffs, mountaineering
- Normal mode for belaying a climber or abseiling (on one or two ropes)
- Independent and simultaneous belaying of two seconds in Reverso mode
- Release hole for slackening the second climber via a carabiner
A lightweight, ultra-sturdy belayer
- Lightweight (57 grams)
- Long-lasting stability thanks to hot-forged aluminum and rounded rope passage design
- Efficient braking on double ropes from 7.1 to 9.2 mm and twin ropes from 6.9 to 9.2 mm, and on single ropes between 8.5 and 10.5 mm
