Description
Tree pruning is one of the most safety-critical jobs you can do. The PETZL ZIGZAG PLUS descender is a mechanical Prusik with high-performance swivel for pruning. An ideal piece of equipment for moving easily through trees, with a gesture identical to a classic Prusik pulley system.
Intuitive operation:
- Gestures similar to those of the classic Prusik pulley system.
- Direct blocking of the device on the rope when the blocking chain is deployed.
Efficient movement in the tree:
- Simple slack take-up with the release lever for precise movements and perfectly modulated travel speed
- Easy slack take-up with the sealed ball-bearing-mounted pulley
- Lower connection hole with high-performance swivel (keeps the mechanical Prusik in the correct position at all times)
Great versatility:
- Use on double or single rope, thanks to the CHICANE accessory (more braking on descent) and KNEE ASCENT pedals (simplified ascents)
- Upper connection hole for rope return when using double rope, or additional CHICANE brake when using single rope.
- A secondary connection hole for an additional ZILLON lanyard

- Wide, curved flanges for long-lasting wear resistance
Suitable for rope diameters from 11.5 to 13 mm.
