PETZL I'D S self-braking anti-panic descender for work at height and difficult access. Easy-to-handle equipment designed for easy positioning at the workstation.

Easy to use:
- A locking pawl on the mobile flange allows the rope to be passed through in a single movement without losing the descender.
- A guide and markings to facilitate rope installation
- An error-indicating trigger to avoid any risk of accident due to incorrect rope placement
- Ergonomic handle for excellent control during descent
- Descent on the flange or in the V-shaped braking groove
- AUTO-LOCK system for rapid positioning at the workstation, with rope locking once the handle is released (automatic return of the rope to prevent snagging)
- Direct storage of the handle once the rope has been removed from the descender
Great versatility:
- Rope cleaning (if the rope is blocked) without manipulating the handle
- Pivoting cam for easy rope slack take-up and reversibility of the hauling system
- A screw to lock the mobile flange (ideal for incorporating the descender into a rescue kit)
- Compatible with rope diameters from 10 to 11.5 mm
- Possibility of fitting an additional brake for better control of descent
- Reinforced protection on the rope's friction zone for greater durability
