PETZL MAESTRO DESCENDER
PETZL MAESTRO descender with integrated pulley block. Equipment for technical rescue operations, for loads up to 250 kg, compatible with 10.5 to 11.5 mm ropes.
Description
Technical rescue equipment must combine versatility, reliability and efficiency. It has to be adaptable to all the configurations encountered on each intervention site. The PETZL MAESTRO descender combines all the advantages for successful missions.
Versatility:
- A blocking system with a pulley-block device to use the same device for both descending and hoisting.
- Two types of use: as a single or double main system, and as a back-up system
- A lower connection point, ideal for several types of hauling operations
- A hole created in the handle for passing a remote control cord
Ease of use:
- Markings on the device for easy rope installation
- Ergonomic handle for greater comfort
- Immediate changeover from lowering to hoisting position, without having to take up the load again
- AUTO-LOCK system automatically locks the rope if the handle is not used

- Excellent hoisting performance thanks to the built-in blocking pulley
- Assured braking thanks to the integrated brake and the faceted sheave which multiplies the areas of friction with the rope
