SELF-BRAKING DESCENDER DRUID

DRUID self-braking descender with anti-panic handle

Description

CAMP's compact, lightweight DRUID self-braking descender is designed for professionals working at heights and in first aid, for use with semi-static ropes between 10 and 11mm in diameter.

Its handle features an anti-panic locking function, which stops the descent in the event of excessive pressure on the handle by the user.

Its internal mechanism and locking cam ensure a gentle action on the rope preventing premature wear, and allow light shocks to be absorbed by a fluid glide of the rope inside the device.

Technical features :
- Forged aluminum alloy body and handle, microfusion stainless steel mechanical parts.
- Equipped with a release to allow the rope to glide under light or no load.
- Features a small ring for attachment of an anti-loss rope.

Complies with :
- EN 12841/C as a work rope adjuster for persons up to 120kg, can be used in rescue situations up to 200kg.
- EN 341/2A as a rescue descender on single rope, for persons up to 120kg and 11mm semi-static rope (Iridium 11mm).
- EN 15151-1 for use in climbing structures from the bottom using dynamic 9.9 to 11 mm ropes.
