Description

The Franco Garda stretcher is a high-performance, versatile helicopter hoist rescue stretcher designed for casualty immobilization and evacuation directly at the rescue site. It is suitable for operations in mountain environments, vertical rescue, canyons, aquatic environments, and snowy terrain, providing a reliable solution for demanding rescue situations.

Its raised-edge shell, both lightweight and durable, consists of a stainless steel tubular frame covered with Twintex, a fiberglass/polypropylene composite material that ensures high strength while allowing the stretcher to slide easily over all types of terrain. The patented articulation system allows the stretcher to be folded or separated into three sections without tools and without detachable parts. This mechanism also ensures a secure double locking system, particularly during helicopter hoisting operations. The stretcher is approved for rescue operations with most helicopters.

The Franco Garda stretcher is equipped with a complete medical cover including an effective patient immobilization system: adjustable headrest, padded thoracic supports, reinforced straps, and quick-access openings for the patients upper and lower limbs.
