Firefighters' Halligan axe
Description
Forged steel fire axe with flat head and fibreglass handle.
For use in fire-fighting, forcing, doorstops, etc. Cutting edge measures 15.24 cm.
Pre-equipped to insert a Halligan bar. The body is fully polished, hand-sharpened and the tip is tapered for a better cut.
The cutting edges are heat-treated for added safety. Rockwell hardness value: RC 45-55
The flat head is red in colour with the cutting edge varnished to combat rust.
The yellow handle measures 86 cm and is extremely strong, non-conductive and non-corrosive.
