Compact PETZL ABSORBICA energy absorber for reduced space on the harness. To be used with a JANE lanyard to create a fall arrest lanyard.
Description
Protecting yourself in the event of a fall is more than essential when climbing. The ABSORBICA energy absorber from PETZL is designed to ensure your safety, by combining it with a JANE-I or JANE-Y lanyard. In this way, you can create a fall arrest lanyard of up to two meters in length.
- Progressive tearing of the energy-absorbing webbing to minimize the impact force on the user.
- Can be used for weights between 60 and 140 kilograms
- Compact design to minimize discomfort during progression
- Wear protection for the absorber thanks to the resistant fabric pouch and simplified opening system
The ABSORBICA energy absorber from PETZL can be attached to the harness in two ways:
- With a carabiner held in place by a STRING accessory, supplied with the absorber, or with a MICRO SWIVEL to prevent kinking (in the event of numerous connections/disconnections).
- With openable RING OPEN ring or SWIVEL OPEN swivel for quasi-permanent connection
