Description
NUPLA fiber-sleeve pike poles are renowned for their robustness, safety in use and virtually unlimited service life.
They are available in different configurations for each component.
The pike poles are made of Nuplaglas® TCP fiberglass with a patented Featherlight honeycomb plastic core, giving them incomparable lightness and steel-like strength.
NUPLA handles withstand temperatures in excess of 120° and brief flame contact up to 400°; they are unaffected by sub-zero temperatures. They are non-conductive and have excellent insulating properties, making them safe for use in wet conditions.
Their smooth, resin-coated surface protects users from splinters and is UV-resistant.
NUPLA handles are impervious to cuts and knocks, do not absorb mildew, are resistant to most chemicals, are flame-retardant, easy to clean...
Nupla's "Take Apart" assembly system makes it possible to quickly assemble/disassemble the tool's various components, enabling great flexibility of use, compact storage and adaptability of the tool's configuration to any situation.
When locked, the connection system withstands a tensile force of 4 tonnes. The bending strength of the assembled handle has been tested up to 147.55 kg over a limited time at a distance of 1.35 m.
