Description
A carabiner provides maximum resistance in the long axis, with the finger closed and the ring locked. If the carabiner is used in any other way, the resistance decreases, which is dangerous for the user. PETZL's CAPTIV retaining bar is precisely designed to ensure that the carabiner is loaded in the long axis, preventing it from turning over.
This device secures the device or the lanyard to the connector, thus preventing their potential loss. Compatible with OK, Am'D, WILLIAM, OXAN, VULCAN, Bm'D and ROLLCLIP A carabiners.
